These wonderful serving spoons are elegant and rare. A platter spoon by Hester Bateman, 'Queen of English Silversmiths', is a nice find. A pair even better.  But in the rare and highly collected 'feather edge' pattern, they are exceptional.
Each spoon measures 11.75 inches long. They are fully marked on the back. Together they weigh 6.45 troy ounces; they bear the original crest of the head of a unicorn and are in very good antique condition.
