This set is a wonderful example of Boston coin silver. Reserved, classical styling on low, round bodies consist of applied beading around the rims and along the
handles, engraved greek-key border around the tops and cast and applied foliate c-scroll feet. One side of the swing-handled basket and underneath the flaring
lip of the creamer are engraved wreaths containing the initials 'MMH' in an Old English style.
This elegant set is marked underneath 'Haddock, Lincoln & Foss/ Coin/ BOSTON'. The creamer measures 4 inches high by 5 inches across the spout and handle.
The sugar bowl is 6 inches high to the top of the handle by 5 inches round. They have a combined weight of 13.85 troy ounces and are in very good/
excellent antique condition retaining their original gilded interiors.
