Tiffany & Co 'Vine' Pattern Sterling Silver Pastry or Waffle Server,  c. 1871-91

This is a lovely serving piece which could be used for many things.  It is not pictured in the book Tiffany Silver Flatware by Hood and is an undocumented form in this pattern.  Although the shape resembles a tomato server, it is not pierced and is similar to a pastry or waffle server.  Grapevine is a stunning motif of leaves and bunches of grapes on a vine traveling around the handle against a stippled background.  The back is monogrammed 'GGC' in a script style.

The beautiful server is stamped 'TIFFANY & CO/ STERLING/ M'.  It measures just under 9 inches long, weighs 3.30 troy ounces and is in very good/ excellent antique condition.
