Tiffany 'Olympian' Sterling Cake/Pie Server, early 20th Century

'Olympian' is a wonderful pattern which depicts various scenes from mythology on various pieces. This lovely cake server depicts Paris presenting the golden apple to Venus (see Tiffany Silver Flatware by William Hood). A lovely gilded blade has a serrated left edge for cutting. The back of the handle is engraved with a block-style 'H.V' monogram. 

This dramatic serving piece is marked on the back 'TIFFANY & CO/ STERLING/ PATENT 1878/ m' (1907-47 date mark).  It measures 11.25 inches long, weighs 5.20 troy ounces and is in excellent, very crisp condition.
