Pair of French Silver (.950 standard) Beakers, Puiforcat, c. 1920's
These wonderful beakers are in a simple, elegant form with graceful, flaring rims and stepped feet. They are both classical and modern at the same time.
These lovely beakers are stamped underneath the outer rims with the diamond 'EP' makers mark of Puiforcat and the Minerva head 1st standard mark. This Minerva head
stamp, which denotes the 950 standard of silver (sterling being 925), is repeated on the bottom rims of the feet. They are also marked underneath 'JEAN PUIFORCAT/
PARIS'. The beakers measure 3.5 inches high, weigh 4.95 troy ounces each and are in excellent condition. We have four of these beakers and they are being sold in pairs. You
