Towle 'Old Colonial' Pattern Sterling Teaspoons – 12, c. 1910

Patented in 1895, 'Old Colonial' is designed with a handle outlined with fine beading and a scrolling top with a flame finial.  The unusual bowls on spoons of this pattern are faceted.   They are fitted in their original presentation box, the outside of which has seen better days.

These beautiful spoons are marked with Towle's trademark and 'PAT. 1895/ STERLING/ 925/1000’. They measures just over 5.5 inches long, weigh a combined 10.15 troy ounces, have never been monogrammed and are in very good condition.
