Of very high quality, these lovely tongs were made by the London partnership of William Eley, William Fearn and William Chawner. The handles are in the Fiddle
Shell and Thread pattern. The unusual blades are .75 wide inch by 4.5 inches long with a ribbed interior for easy handling of food. The top blade has a fold at the
tip to also assist in serving. A shaped elbow is engraved with a crest of a lion holding an axe.
These wonderful serving tongs are fully hallmarked. They measure 9 inches long and are in excellent condition.
