This stunning sterling silver vase is tall, heavy and impressive. Made by the great New York firm of Dominick & Haff, its gracefully curved body is ornamented with
robust repoussed foliage emanating from the base. Curved scroll handles are applied at the sides and employ complimentary decoration as does the shaped, flared rim and
domed foot. One side is engraved 'ESC from ELC/ July 28th 1897' in a cursive style.
This vase is marked underneath 'STERLING' and with Dominick & Haff's trademark with the date 1892. It measures 13 inches high by 9.5 inches across the
handles, weighs 44.75 troy ounces and is in very good/ excellent antique condition.
