Whiting 'Imperial Queen' Pattern Sterling Silver Butter Spreaders, c. 1900, set of 8

'Imperial Queen' is a beautiful pattern with shells and foliate decoration which carries onto the back of the handle. Beneath the large shell at the top is an Old English style 'H' monogram.

These lovely sterling silver spreaders are marked with Whiting's trademark and 'STERLING/ PAT 1893'. They measures just over 5.5 inches long, weigh a combined 4.95 troy ounces and are in very good antique condition.
