Farrington & Hunnewell Coin Silver Leaf-Form Pastry Server, c. 1860
This rare serving piece is by Farrington & Hunnewell from Boston and dates to about 1860. The handle has wonderful engraved edges with scroll devices at the top and is monogrammed with a ‘C’. The unique, gilded blade is in the form of a maple leaf with hand-engraved detailing. 
This lovely coin silver server is marked on the back ‘F. & H.’ between two stars. It measures 8.25 inches long, weighs 1.95 troy ounces and is in excellent condition.
