Tiffany 'Clover' Pattern Sterling Creamer and Sugar, early 20th century
Holloware (other than bowls) in this beautiful pattern is uncommon. Designed with graceful lines and curved rims, these lovely pieces feature a large clover in bloom
surrounded by three- and four-leaf clover leaves. This
design with bold swirl handles contrast nicely to the plain bodies of the pieces. On one side is a script style 'BMG' monogram. This rare sugar and creamer are after dinner coffee service
(demitasse) size.
Underneath the pieces are marked 'TIFFANY & Co/ MAKERS/ STERLING SILVER/ 925-1000/ C'. This 'C' mark was used from 1902-07. The creamer is also marked ¾ GILL and the sugar is
marked 1 GILL. The creamer measures 5.25 inches long and the sugar measures 6 inches across the handle. They have a combined weight of 6.15 troy ounces and are in very good condition.
