Andrew Ellicott Warner, Jr. Sterling Silver Pie Forks - 12, c. 1870
Pie or dessert forks are quite rare and are usually designed with four tines with the leftmost being wider and having a knife-edge for cutting. Beautiful bright-cut engraving
decorates the handles, bowl and leftmost tine. These forks are great examples of Baltimore silver flatware made or retailed by the firm of A. E. Warner.
Andrew Warner, Sr. is listed as first working in Baltimore in 1805. His son is listed as working from 1864-1893. 
Marked on the back 'WARNER/ STERLING' these lovely forks measure 6.25 inches long, weigh a combined 10.20 troy ounces, have never been monogrammed and are in
excellent antique condition.
