Frank Smith Grape Design Sterling Silver Punch Ladle, c. 1900

The Frank Smith Silver Company was from Gardner, Massachusetts and made fine silver. This stunning item is a long-handled punch ladle which features a 3-dimensional cast and applied grape vine along the handle with large detailed leaves and bunches of grapes.  Decorating the gold gilt bowl with double-lip pouring edge is an applied grape leaf.

This rare ladle is stamped with Frank Smith's trademark and 'STERLING'.  It measures 13.25 inches long, weighs 7.10 troy ounces, has never been monogrammed and is in very good/ excellent antique condition.
