Gorham Sterling and Ebony  Serving Spoon

This beautiful serving spoon by Gorham has a long ebony handle which has a carved molding along the upper edges. It is fitted and pegged into the sterling neck of the bowl.  This is a very elegant piece with simple decoration in one of Gorham's 'H' patterns - special patterns made in a limited number of forms and pieces in the late 19th century. The serving spoon measures 12" long and is in wonderful condition.
