In a pattern designed by Johan Rohde circa 1915, this wonderful set exhibits the fine quality and charm that makes Jensen silver so special.  It consists of a coffee pot, tea pot, creamer and covered sugar. Graceful shapes with minimal decoration create this beautiful piece. Enhancing its beauty is the shimmering hammered surface encompassing the body. A scroll and berry decoration is applied underneath the tops of the carved, dark wood handles.
This stunning sterling silver coffee and tea service is marked ‘GEORG JENSEN’ in a beaded oval along with ‘DENMARK/ STERLING/ DESSIN JR’. The pots are also marked ‘45A’ and the creamer and sugar are marked ‘45C’. These marks were used from 1945-1977. The coffee pot measures 9.25 inches high. The combined weight is 54.60 troy ounces and the service is in very good antique condition.
