Duhme & Co Coin Silver Presentation Goblet, c. 1860

Duhme & Co were from Cincinnati, Ohio and made wonderful silver.  This unusual presentation goblet is inscribed 'Chloe Angar/ Born/ March 30th/ 1786' in an engraved shield with decorative grass designs coming out the sides. The flared cup is decorated with rows of fine beading and has a pedestal base, also engraved, with a bulbous stem midsection.

This beautiful goblet is stamped 'DUHME & CO' twice underneath the base and has the model number '480'.  It measures just under 7 inches high, weighs 5.35 troy ounces and is in excellent condition.
