N. Harding & Co Coin Silver 'Ideal' Olive Server, c. 1865
Newell Harding was from Boston, Massachusetts and made some wonderful silver including this rare serving instrument. One end is a 2-tined fork and the other is a spoon with a
pierced, scalloped bowl. A flattened oval between twisted ends is engraved "EL/ FROM/ "HCW'.
The back of this lovely server is marked 'N. HARDING & CO/ PURE COIN'. It measures 11 inches long, weighs 1.05 troy ounces and is in excellent antique condition.
