Frank Smith 'Colbert' Sterling Silver Bouillon Ladle, c. 1900

The Frank Smith Silver Company was from Gardner, Massachusetts and made fine silver.  This lovely item is a bouillon ladle in the 'Colbert' pattern which features high-Victorian influence scroll and foliate accents. The shaped bowl retains its original gilded interior.

This lovely ladle is stamped with Frank Smith's trademark, 'STERLING' and by the retailer 'C.H. PLACE'. It measures 9.75 inches long, weighs 3.80 troy ounces and is in very good condition with very light scratches in the bowl.
