American Coin Silver Ice Tongs, c. 1860

These long-handled ice tongs are designed with twisted handle stems.  Wonderful engraving along the upper portion of the handle and around the shaped bowls and tines decorate the piece.  Engraved on one side at the top is ‘F.P.R’ and the other side is engraved ‘From Harry/ 1860’.

These coin silver servers are totally unmarked.  They measure 9.25 inches long, weigh 2.55 troy ounces and are in very good condition.
