Pair of Samuel Kirk 11oz Silver Goblets, c. 1830
These stunning goblets are very early examples of Kirk holloware from Baltimore. The cylindrical bodies flare outwards at the tops and are reinforced with applied
banding around the rims. Fine edge moldings are applied below hand-engraved garlands of flowers and foliage which contrast nicely with the plain surfaces of the bodies and stepped pedestal bases.
These rare silver goblets are stamped along the outside foot 'KIRK 11'. This is one of the rarest of the Kirk marks and
was used for only a short period around 1830. They measure 5.75 inches high by 3.25 inches wide, weigh a combined 14.40 troy ounces and are in very good/
excellent antique condition. They have never been monogrammed.
Our Price: $4,900.00 for the pair.
