Tiffany & Co 'Italian' Pattern Sterling Silver Coffee Spoons, set of 8, 1870-75

Tiffany's 'Italian' pattern is one of their earliest flatware designs and is very intricately designed with classical elements against a matte-finish background with fine lines.  The backs of the handles are beautifully engraved with a 'FWC' monogrammed and the bowls are gilded on both sides. 

These lovely spoons are marked on the back 'm/ TIFFANY & Co/ STERLING/ PAT 1870'. The 'm' mark on these spoons was used at Tiffany & Co from 1870-75.  They measure 4. 75 inches long, weigh a combined 4.45 troy ounces and are in excellent antique condition.
