This is a beautiful server of wonderful quality. The curved blade is engraved with a wonderful scene of three caught fish hanging from vines below a bird. The handle sparkles with it's engine turned decoration. A shield at the top is beautifully engraved 'LSH'.

This lovely server is marked on the blade by the retailer 'Lavallée/ 19 BOULT. STRASBOURG/ PARIS' (Charles-Alexandre Lavallée) along with the French 1st standard silver mark and maker's mark. It measures 12 inches long, weighs 4.45 troy ounces and is in very good antique condition.
